Newbury Street

Newbury Street in Boston was my inspiration when designing this long jacket. The jacket is perfect to wear in while wondering the shops and galleries on Newbury Street – or any street.

First published in May’s Creative Knitting Magazine, this top-down cable and lace pattern is now available for download on my website here.

May Lace Scarf, worked in the same lace pattern as the sleeves of the jacket, is accented with glass seed beads.

May Lace Scarf pattern is included with the Newbury Street  Jacket pattern. But, for those wishing to knit only the scarf the scarf pattern is offered as a separate pattern here.

When I wore this combo at Stitches, I was asked if I knit the jacket or if it was store bought! What a fabulous complement!

You too, can knit this lace and cable jacket and strut your stuff on the Boulevard!

Cascade Yarns, Cotton Rich DK and S. Charles, Ritratto yarns will be on your favorite yarn lists after you work the patterns!

Happy Knitting,

Nancy
