Flower Hat

I created a simple crocheted hat for a student. Then added a bit of fun with a few crocheted flowers.

Single crochet stitches increased from the top down in three sizes. Then increased at the end for an easy to turn up brim.DSC_0062

Cascade Yarn’s Pima Silk really gives this hat soft texture and a durable wear. Perfect for warmer winter weather – springtime weather – inside weather – or any other time wear when wool isn’t wanted. (Of course, it can be worked up quick in wool, too.)

Having a hat using Single Crochet stitches gives you a great texture that is similar to a seed stitch. But, being crocheted works up much quicker.

I encourage you to take your crochet skills out for an easy spin.

Happy Flowers,
