Corrections

Patterns are updated and corrected when errors are found. At the beginning of the corrections posted below is the date the pattern was changed. If you purchased the pattern after the date shown you have an up to date pattern.

Errors that are miss-spelled words or small in nature and easily figured out will not be posted here.

If you do not find what you need please leave a comment or send me an e-mail and I will either post the correction and/or send you the correction through e-mail.

Thank you for your patience!

Summer Wild Oats: 09/18/09 When this pattern was first converted to PDF format the last line of the first page was left off. Here is the last line:

“bead on crochet needle, grab the stitch with crochet needle and slide the bead onto the stitch.”

Spring Wild Oats: 11/09/09 The increase chart on the 1st page is written  to view after knitted  instead of  the way it is worked. I have also clarified the pattern stitch. Please leave me an email or comment and I will send you the corrections.

Summer Breeze: 05/10/11 Sleeve increases and decreases should read in parenthesis: 2 sts instead of 4 sts.

LaSalle Street: increase set of 10 rows was written for in the round instead of back and forth. Here is the correct format:

Increase Set of 10 Rows:
Row 1 (RS): *Work to 1 st before, M, M1, k1, SM, k1, M1, *work to 1 st before, M,  M1, k1.
Row 2 and all even rows through 10 (WS) : work pattern sts. (purling new sts.)
Row 3: *Work to 2 sts before, M, M1, k2, SM, k2, M1,* work to 2 sts before, M,  M1, k2.
Row 5: *Work to 3 sts before, M, M1, k3,*SM, k3, M1,* work to 3 sts before M,  M1, k3.
Row 7: *Work to 4 sts before, M, M1, k4,*SM, k4, M1,* work to 4 sts before M,  M1, k4.

  1. Are your patterns written out or in charts only?

    • Most earlier patterns are charts only.
But if you need the writen directions for a chart just send a request to my email.

Later patterns include both written instructions and charts.
However, more complicated lace patterns are charts only (they would take pages and pages to write out).

  2. I’ve just started on the Modern Argyle Sweater (which I am stoked for as it is my first sweater) and in the Front Cable Pattern it has 11lpc2. In the special abbreviations it shows that 11lpc2 means work 11lpc twice yet it never shows what 11lpc means. This is an abbreviation I am not familiar with. Can you help me out here?

    • Hello Ashlea!
The explanation to the stitch is in the chart key.

      Here it is written out:
Slip one stitch to cable needle and hold in front, p1, k1 from cable needle.

      Happy Sweater Knitting!
      Nancy

  3. Thank you Nancy.

  4. I would like to knit the Falling Starz Pattern seen on Raverly but the link to the pattern is giving a error message. Is there a way I can get that from another Website?

    • It should be a free pattern off the Cascade website.
Let me know if you still have a problem. I can email it to you.

  5. Thank you, found it on Cascade website. I love your design’s! I’m almost done with Sport Weekender. I like the way you’ve designed the raglan, the art of invisibility. very ingenious.

    • Thank you for your kind words!
I am so happy that you like my 10 row increase sequence.
